Thanks for your help! Sadly it doesn’t appear to be a a button issue because if I turn off the Moza cockpit it starts working immediately, without any of the cool ffb though. Im almost certain it’s related to accusim in some way, so frustrating that it worked beautifully yesterday and today it doesn’t!

Hi all, I have an odd intermittent issue that keeps happening when running the Moza cockpit software with my Moza yoke and the PA24. This only happens with the PA24 and no other aircraft. I know that accusim runs externally so this may have something to do with it not playing nicely. The control lock is on at start up, and the yoke doesn’t move, but once I remove the control lock the yoke is still locked and not moving. If I turn off the Moza cockpit software then the controls move again but obviously I then lose a bunch of the force feedback functionality. Ive tried, restarting the flight, restarting the sim, restarting Moza cockpit. Switching aircraft and then switching back and no luck. Yesterday it worked fine, today no joy. Anyone else with this setup had this happen? I am using the 2024 native build of the PA24. Any thoughts appreciated! Many thanks

This is the current pathway I have it stored in my community folder, can anyone confirm if this is correct: Community/xbaw-soundest-737/simobjects/airplanes/pmdg 737-800 I restarted the sim and I am still pretty sure it’s not working, again my test is to select com 3 to boom and I should hear passenger chat, but I don’t.

Do you suspect I am expecting it to be completely different when it’s actually more subtle? I am happy with that, except that I still can’t hear passenger chatter after selecting boom on com 3 and also thought the APU still sounded quite weak externally. Maybe I’ll restart the sim and see if that kicks in any changes.

Hi all, I bought Boris’s sound pack for the PMDG 737 on MSFS 24. I am not sure it’s actually working though! I can’t hear any passengers when selecting on Com 3 and to be honest I can’t really hear any real difference to the PMDG sounds. I purchased and installed via ORBX, I can see that the folder in in the community folder, but not sure what else I need to do? Many thanks! Anthony

Do you have an Xbox controller attached at all? I found the Xbox controller was causing issues, go into your controls, select your controller and then check parking brake. If there is anything bound to it, then delete it. I recently did a fresh install of MS24 and that was the issue for me, similar responses from the aircraft. It was actually all aircraft not just Fenix. Let me know if that fixed it!

Yup I went through them all, in the end went with a fresh install. Which, for the time being, solved it for me. Although tonight’s test flight defaulted to traffic back on again, so maybe I haven’t quite solved that little issue! What did you do to get it working again?

Yeah seems to have worked for me, still need to sort all my controls out, got the Fenix profile done though, still a few tweaks to do on it. Did half a lap around Heathrow, seems pretty good, still got a bit of that annoying sound popping, but seems smooth, night looking better as well. The only setting that doesn’t seem to save is the x2 frame gen. I set it to 4x and it drops back to 2x on each new start. But other than that it would seem that it’s all good!

In the end I lost patience, did a reset of cloud storage…that didn’t work. So did a full sim reinstall. That seemed to fix it as well as another issue I had since moving over to my new pc 4 months ago with some graphic settings having to be reset every time I started the sim. only the frame generation seems to reset back to 2x from 4x now, but that’s ok I guess. Now I just have the small task of reconfiguration of all my controls…😳

Yep I have the same thing, I’m guessing that a reinstall may be the only fix? tried logging in and out of Xbox services, using the windows store version. It looks like it’s not a widely spread issue as only a few posts mention it. Did you manage to resolve?

Yeah that’s a good call, it probably does a background update through the store, I think of my SU some have done this (ie not shown any download but then being the correct version). Yeah I also had the redbull air racing banner on the Home Screen. Haha I actually updated the pc this year, I went a bit silly. 9800 X3D 5090 and 96 GB RAM. I do have some slightly odd issues with MSFS 24, some setting don’t save ( air traffic setting never saves and I have to turn it off on every sim start, I use BATC for traffic) luckily my control settings do save. I may have to do the dreaded delete and re-install, I just need to figure out how to save my bindings as I really don’t want to go through resetting those up again, that and saving my community folder.

Yeah I had the same thing, no apparent download but it would appear to be SU4. I only spent about 10 mins on it as it was quite late. Kept getting an error pop up. Error 2047, looks like some others have that as well, will try again later today. I don’t want to try a fix that wipes my control configs so hopefully it’ll get sorted. Did everyone here get an actual download? I’m on PC with the windows store version.

I had it on the A2A and the Cessna 172. Fenix was actually ok. Easy solution is to type in Parking Brake or even just Parking and then click on each of your devices and it’ll show you what’s mapped to it. Then just delete those bindings. It is confusing that the visuals don’t quite match, ie it looks like brake is off when it’s still set. Glad that SU 3 has sped up the controller setting page now, so fixing is a quick job! Hope that helps!

I think that’s the same for me really. It almost feels like the sim is about to crash entirely and then it recovers.

I find it’s an intermittent problem on my end. Some flights it happens a lot and others not at all. It is paired up with a spike in CPU. I have a fairly beefy rig, 5090, 9800x3d and 96GB Ram. Another thing is for some reason I have to go in and change the traffic on every new launch of the sim, it never saves that setting. Luckily all others are saved. And the new version has a bunch of new settings added with parked aircraft etc. I use BATC as my traffic injector so need to disable it all every flight. Back on topic though, have MSFS or Asobo mentioned anything about this? Is it tied to AMD for example? Many thanks

Yep I’ll second or third that, there’s loads of great profiles on there, also there’s a YouTuber called V1 who is a real world 320 pilot, he’s set up a nice profile I use with fenix for the AB9. Outside of MSFS, there are also some great DCS profiles, F16 with its very small movements, helo cyclic with correct trim behaviour etc, UH 1 feels awesome. I went with the Moza Airbus stick and then later bought the thrustmaster f16 grip which works flawlessly! I must admit it’s an amazing stick, even after all these years. The one draw back of my old VKB stick was it wasn’t quite as solid in construction being primarily plastic. I do agree there are only a 3 profiles for the yoke currently. It was only 2 until the last update, I was using the 172 profile for any light aircraft and the 737 profile for my 777 flights. Having zero hours in the real world 777 it’s hard for me to say how realistic it was! But now they have a 777 profile so will test it at some point. One thing it’s supposed to do is follow the auto pilot inputs which is pretty cool as well. Although not noticed it doing that yet! Enjoy the new piece of kit man!

On Dave’s Updates on their discord he has a fix for the sounds. I’m just testing it out now, I think it’s mainly for the RA call-outs. I can’t remember, did we used to get V speed call outs before? Not getting them now but not sure if I ever did!

Yeah I found the same - I’ve also done one and thought the exact same thing! I’ll wait until SU3 to release! The spinny wheel is so annoying! I’ve also noticed some minor sound issues. Didn’t get the RA call-outs on my flight last night. Also do you find that if you click on some switches you can hear them and other times you can’t? Seems a little intermittent.

Ah…didn’t even know that was a thing! How to I change it to legacy? Is it under controls, then mouse somewhere?

I’ve still found that the way the liveries are displayed in 2024 for fenix to be a bit odd. I thought a good way to do it would be to have each model with the fenix default showing up on the main aircraft menu and then within that you could select the livery for that model. But that doesn’t appear to be happening for me with this update. I have a couple of Fenix standard liveries on the main menu, but then also a few liveries. You have to go into those and then click on config and then by trial and error find the livery you are looking for! Not sure if it’s like that for everyone. I got the pop up and deleted the old liveries, so these are all the 2024 new versions. Is this just me or does everyone have this? Oh I’m still on SU2, not the SU3 Beta, in case that makes a difference!

Awesome update! One question, I noticed that I still cannot seem to pull the volume control out on the radio panel. Has any one figured it out? Clicking it seems to only turn it up or down. I have tried scrolling over it, right click, left click, scroll wheel click. Nothing seems to work! Am I missing something? In 2020 I think it was just a mouse click to pull them up.
