December 13, 2025Dec 13 Hello I am flying a route 2 legs outbound to OKKK and inbound to OMDB for loading and importing a flight plan from Simbrief, do i need to disconnect Pilot2ATC and reconnect it after landing in outbound destination to import a new flight plan for the second leg or just starting new flight plan and importing and validating and file it without disconnect Pilot2ATC? What is the correct procedure to load a flight plan in Pilot2ATC to run properly? Thank you
December 13, 2025Dec 13 Loading a FP from Simbrief is pretty straight forward. No, you do not need to reconnect P2A. Just create your FP in Simbrief then "Generate Flight." Once that is done, Bring up the Flt Plan in P2A and click the Import button in the Flight Plan window. Be sure SimBrief is selected and your SimBrief Numeric User Id is filled in properly then click the Import button. Your FP should load into the P2A Flight Plan window and you can Validate and File it from there. Works like a champ! I do it every day. Course, I'm on X-Plane; I assume you are the other guys but I'm sure it makes no difference, especially with respect to loading a FP. X-Plane 12, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Nvidia RTX 5090, Asus ROG Strix X870E-E mb, 96GB DDR5 (6800MHz), 4TB SSD, Triple Monitor 1440p, Windows 11, FliteSim CLS-120 Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo, TurtleBeach VelocityOne Pedals, RealSimGear G1000 Suite, PropWash Radio Stack, Tobii Tracker 5, Asus Xonar U5 sound card.
