Yeah, after upgrading my GPU I can confirm it's visually better. Besides, what's so great in a slightly more glossy concorde (fxp) when many systems are inop and not even modelled 😞

I’ve sat with a friend who has the Colimata Concorde and the climb profile is way off. The FSL one is spot on. Visuals are secondary to flight model accuracy in my opinion. Others may disagree.

Can you post details of your CPU and GPU? In Enhanced Atmospherics mode the cockpit takes on a completely different look. But you do need a minimum of a RTX3000 card and 4 is significantly better.

I agree with the climb profile, not forgetting alot of systems are not modelled which threw me off long ago.

@Joshua757, thinking more about your revelation that full control is possible of the FS Labs Concorde by not activating the scripts I really think you should make this public over at FSL's forum.

I know a few people who are frustrated they cannot control the systems and have effectively become an observer with few inputs required whilst the scripts do all the work.

If you decide to post in a forum visible to all, not just customers. The General Forum seems ideal.

That's a great idea! By general forum, do you mean the one here on Avsim ? I had previously posted this on reddit to the surprise of many FSL users. The P3D FSL concorde I have was from a room mate back when we shared my PC. I've been wanting to buy it myself again to ensure continued access should I change PC in the future but am low on funds ATM. But I do have access to the forum since I have the 32 bit version so I'll definitely make a post. I'm sure many will benefit.

No, the one on FS Labs. But unless you’re the registered owner of the 64-bit version then you’ll be treated with suspicion or worse if you post about it without it being registered against your name.

Oh dear. I see. Maybe you could post it on my behalf if you don't mind and link in my video as the proof ?

Safest solution is for me to link to your video and just give the basics of how you got manual control over all the systems. I’m pretty sure that backdoor isn’t known about by anyone except the development team who have kept quiet for reasons unknown.

Good Idea. So the basics were dont right click the ground call button. Only left click to start refuelling once you've inputted your route and fuel in the Palmtop PC. To request for ground air, just use the fslabs addons tool bar exactly like the 32 bit version. Also the same for requesting ground power if not already connected. Thats it really. Also its important to stop the after takeoff checklist via the palmtop pc after takeoff. Then its just full control throught.

If I give detailed instructions like that when they’re not in the video some will question where I got them from. That would put me in an awkward position.

If you can edit your video and add those instructions that would be best.

Ah I see. I think the video shows exactly what I did and I might add some details in the description, so that should be OK. You could link in the video and it should be self explanatory 🙂

Actually even simpler, the less you say the better. 🙂

You could just post something as simple like.

Hi all,

After much searching the Web for solutions to the problem, I came across this channel by Joshua757 that had indepth concorde tutorials as well as a fix for bypassing the VFE.

Have you included the steps you took to get her running? I can’t see anything. Without knowing the fix for bypassing the VFE it’s not going to help those wanting to try it themselves.

@Hamilton_, link is in the first post.

The step to get it running is just standard way of starting the concorde (going through cockpit flows, etc) which I covered in the video 📹  🙂
