MSFS 2024 PMDG 737 FMC

Featured Replies

Using WebFMCs Vol.2 with the PMDG 737 (MSFS 2024 version) seems to be useable regarding FMC typing and key usage, except that the content of the internal FMC screen is not visible on my external FMC (web browser on my iPad). Any comments are highly appreciated.

Make sure you have enabled data in the aircraft ini file

Old or new iPad? Old iPads can't display HTML 5.

What about when you open it on the PC itself?

IIRC you also have to configure an autoscript in the AAO app to provide the data for the screen. That used to be in the readme file, but it seems to be missing now???

6. Configure the following script as "Aircraft Automated Script" in "One Shot - Beginning" mode: (you only have to do this once)
"PMDG-PMDG_737MSFS_CDU" for the 737 in MSFS
   "PMDG-PMDG_737NG3_CDU" for the 737 NGXu/NG3 in Prepar3D
"PMDG-PMDG_737NGX_CDU" for the legacy 737 NGX

You might as well add the PMDG_737MSFS_Data also

Neither on ipad nor on PC.

BUT:

You are right, the autoscript information was or still is missing in the readme files of the fmcs files you can download from flightsim.to or the AaO download section.

Just did a short tryAfter using the autoscript i was able to see the initial content in the browser but it´s not refreshing in the browser "FMC" only in the "internal airplane FMC" when pressing a key.

Did you also set "PMDG_737MSFS_Data" as a repeating Aircraft Automated Script ?

You made my day. The repeating click was set to one shot.

Great. The only thing that does not work for me is the EXEC light.

I just tested the webFMC with the 2024 PMDG 738 - Exec light is working for me.

Strange. I'm using native PMDG 737 Fs2020 from the webFMCs pack. Is there a native 2024 version or is that not required?

There is no separate version for the 2024 PMDG. I only did a quick check, and the LVars for Exec, Call, Fail, Msg, Ofst are the same in both the 20 and 24 models. There is no reason that I can see why the EXEC shouldn't work for you like it does for me? Are you using some kind of mod or a special livery?

This is the wrong dialog. Undo your changes, then go to "Scripting->Aircraft Automated Scripts". That's where you configure autoscripts.

Configure the following scripts to the plane using the dialog "Scripting->Aircraft Automated Scripts"

"PMDG-PMDG_737MSFS_CDU" as "One Shot - Beginning" for the 737 in MSFS
   "PMDG-PMDG_737NG3_CDU" as "One Shot - Beginning"  for the 737 NGXu/NG3 in Prepar3D
"PMDG-PMDG_737NGX_CDU" as "One Shot - Beginning"  for the legacy 737 NGX

Some users report that they also need the following script - but in my own testing the "_CDU" was enough.
"PMDG-PMDG_737MSFS_Data" as "Repeating - 200ms" for the 737 in MSFS
   "PMDG-PMDG_737NG3_Data" as "Repeating - 200ms"  for the 737 NGXu/NG3 in Prepar3D
"PMDG-PMDG_737NGX_Data" as "Repeating - 200ms"  for the legacy 737 NGX

I've added the missing text back into the readme file and put a link on the selection screen where you can download it.
