A quick thank you and best wishes to all you XPlane simmers who frequent the halls of Avsim. Hope it is pleasant and happy for you all.

Indulgently I gave myself a Xmas Present - I replaced and rebullt my PC with Linux as my one and only operating system. Windows is now banished to the dustbin of history. No simming for a little while as I get XP12.4 sorted and running on the PC. So far has been relatively trouble free just getting used to Linux again after many many years. I went the Ubuntu distribution because that is what LR use and it works nicely for me too. Great way to start the new year. Guess it will make me a welded on XPlane driver for good now! Think I need to change my avatar to a Penguin!

Best of the season to you all!

Now make my year complete, José, by posting on the MSFS forum how you are finally uninstalling MSFS2024 because X-Plane now does multicore and also supports the best OS out there! 😁

I couldn't Jan, because, as you know, my heart has enough space for Xp12, FS 2024 and even Aefs 4 and DCS World (now that I bought that gorgeous C130J) 🙂

Regarding Linux, that's my only day/night use @ work, so the more I can get away from it's taste when not working the best 🙂

If I were rich I would go Mac OS though...

An yes!!!, X-Plane has always a special place in my simmer heart, and I have the highest respect and consideration for the LR team, and very specially for Austin and Spunik !!!
