December 25, 2025Dec 25 I cannot get the overhead to work on the new PMDG 738. Is it working for others or just too soon for an update to make it work? I have update the aviaserver to 2024.

December 25, 2025Dec 25 Author In MSFS 2020 I had switches and knobs mapped to lights, apu, switches, etc. for the overhead panel. Such as the wheel well lights. I flip a switch on my honeycomb bravo and it flips the switch on the overhead client. Likewise I could click the light switch on the overhead client with my mouse and it would flip the switch on the sim. This is not happening with my PMDG 737-800 in MSFS 2024.
December 25, 2025Dec 25 It works perfectly here out of the box! You say aviaserver, did you insert the correct IP adress? Are the ports open in your firewall? You connected to network? In most cases this has to be a wrong connection so check above! Edited December 25, 2025Dec 25 by rob0203

December 25, 2025Dec 25 Author All of the above are correct. The top of the server screen says Connected to PMDG 737 NG in green. License status is green. I’ll keep trying things.
December 25, 2025Dec 25 Do you need to add the SDK stuff to the config file? Some of the ACARs I use needed this added to the 737_options.ini file. [SDK] EnableDataBroadcast=1 EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1 EnableCDUBroadcast.1=1
