December 28, 2025Dec 28 I'm in the process of switching to MSFS 2024. Do I still need to set the aircraft I want to fly with MCE as the default one MSFS loads on initial launch? Do I still need to restart the flight before launching MCE? Also, does MCE work with the PMDG 737-800 for MSFS 2024 or does it need an update? I'm on MCE version 3.1.4.4. Thanks.

For PMDG and IFly Planes where interfacing is done respectively via PMDG SDK and IFly SDK. It doesn't matter which plane happens to be loaded first. I don't think MCE will struggle to identify the new 737 for MSFS2024. It will see it as the same 737-800. Since you're installing the plane AFTER MCE was installed, you'd be missing one crucial step, which is to enable the PDG SDK for the newly installed plane (in plane folder). Either do that manually by adding these lines [SDK] EnableDataBroadcast=1 Or, re-install MCE and it should do that automatically. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com

Unfortunately, the VoiceScrips of the Copilot no longer work with the new PMDG B738 in MSFS2024. I have re-installed MCE 3.1.4.5 Ultimate Edition AFTER the aircraft. The SDK entry in the 737_option.ini file is there and single commands work. However, no VoiceScripts are recognized for the aircraft using the TUI G-ATW livery provided by PMDG. It only sees the general ones in the "ALL" folder. One more thing: If a new VoiceScript is saved from the MCE GUI for the co-pilot, the vscr file will not be saved in the MyVoiceScripts\Copilot folder, but some hierarchys higher under \Documents\Multi Crew Experience\ and starting with the filename MyVoiceScripts. Something is confused here. Same behaviour also with the old 3.1.4.4 MCE patch. Any ideas? The patch works fine with the latest release of PMDG‘s B737 for MSFS2024. VoiceScripts are recognized end executed correctly. Amazing service and support from the FS++ crew.
