Having no joy at all getting GSX to even show up on my system. Talking 2024 here. Did have it working fine a while back, but haven't used it for probably 6 months or so. But I fancied a bit of a play with the 737s, not my usual hot start thing, and it seems to have vanished. I can see the links in the community folder but it doesn't show up in the pull down menu and doesn't respond to the key combination either.

Any suggestions? Happy to have a "doh!" moment if need be.

(and while I'm here, anybody know what happened to the toolbar tooltips? They also seem to have vanished at some point and some of the icons I've got on there might be obvious to their mothers, but not to me)

I guess start with the obvious Did you try reinstalling or updating?

take it you have updated to the latest, if you have run the live update, if try restarting  the coualti exe in your task bar

Run the updater to get latest version.

Once that is done, make sure you switch to 2024 in dropdown for version selection (mine defaults to 2020).  Once 2024 is selected check the Installed/Activate buttons.

Hi Pete, yep, on it. 

This is feeling like a bit of a mystery. I'd already done  various re-installs and similar, and as I posted on FSDT I stripped 2024 back down to clean install state and did another apparently successful GSX reinstall to no avail.

I guess I'll wait and see what Umberto comes up with now. Still working fine on my 2020 system, but invisible on the 2024 system (and those systems are completely ring-fenced - full duplication of all addon folders so no possible interaction there)

And thanks to all who replied. If I ever get to the bottom of this I'll post the results here.

Oh yeah, check your xml file that contains (or should contain) coualt.exe reference.  Also check the permissions on the exe (sometimes Run As Admin will actually prevent it from working correctly).

Thanks. The exe.xml is fine, didn't know about that potential issue with 'Run as admin' but it's not set that way anyway. Currently waiting on Umberto's response. If I get a chance today I shall stick //42's Flow Pro on there and see if replaceing the actual MSFS menu bar solves the problem. I bought a copy of that recently but haven't tried it out yet.

my money is on the community folder under msfs2024 🙂 hope it gets fixed quickly
