January 14Jan 14 Similarly to the discussed in the Ejet Thread, I am currently not able to use AAO to map my Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Axis in MSFS 2024. For the Ejets, the solution was to use a specific LVAR to assign the throttles (L:FSS_EXX_LEVER_THROTTLE_L_MOUSE_INP, Number and L:FSS_EXX_LEVER_THROTTLE_R_MOUSE_INP, Number). I wonder if someone has figured out a way to make this work with the 727 as well. Thanks! January 14Jan 14 Commercial Member Can't get the plane to work in MSFS 2024, the thrust levers are constantly jumping back to idle. In MSFS 2020 I have the thrust levers assigned to the standard events "THROTTLEn_AXIS_SET_EX1" , "n" = 1,2,3 LORBY-SI
January 16Jan 16 Author Yes. It only seems to work if I use the dreadful 2024 built-in UI. In 2020 I could indeed use AAO. Thanks. I am using AAO to control the throttles, using the events mentioned above. They can be selected in the second box from the top on the Axis dialog, in the very first group. Are you saying that they don't work for this plane in 24? I can't test that because the 727 itself isn't working properly for me (thrust levers keep jumping back to idle all the time). Yes, I see the same behavior as you, but when assigning the throttles using MSFS 2024's UI, the throttles work! So this erratic behavior (levers jumping back to idle) only happens when using AAO. So this erratic behavior (levers jumping back to idle) only happens when using AAO. That is a problem with the aircraft logic itself. Create a button assignment to the standard K: event "AUTO_THROTTLE_ARM". When you trigger that, then the thrust levers can be controlled with "B:ENGINE_Throttle_n_Set" , n = 1,2,3. Axis Min = 0, Axis Max = 1, Rounding: Float (Type the B:... code into the box where it says "Enter variable" on the AAO axis dialog) Reversers are controlled with "B:ENGINE_Throttle_Reverser_n_Set", same parameters I suppose that ideally you would create a script with the code "1 (>K:AUTO_THROTTLE_ARM)" and assign that as an aircraft automated script "One Shot - Beginning" to the 727. Then the throttles are unlocked automatically when the plane loads. Edited January 16Jan 16 by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
February 18Feb 18 I'm confused and disappointed that the throttles won't engage and stay forward. I don't understand the MSFS 2024 UI and how to get it to control the throttles could someone explain please I just want to fly this aircraft.

This thread is about how to do it with the AxisAndOhs app. LORBY-SI
