January 19Jan 19 https://shop.brunner-simulation.ch/stay-tuned/ Any idea? I've been waiting for an affordable and reliable FFB yoke for years.

The msfs 2020 and 2024, however, has increased the hardware market to very serious levels, thus encouraging many "niche" companies like Brunner to scale up and reduce the price for the same quality. As with all things, the competition in hardware will become increasing more fierce, forcing some companies to lower prices while others to close their doors.

I’ve been looking at their Yoke for a while now but based on some user feedback from my friends with the unit, it sounded more like they were trying to convince themselves it’s working well rather than it actually working well … takes a lot of tweaking just for one very specific aircraft. I think their issues were mostly with the software side of the device and not being able to get a consistent feel from it. Anyway, I’m keeping an open mind and looking forward to whatever they release as they were the early pioneers. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
January 20Jan 20 Author After carefully studying the image on the teaser page, I believe it gonna be a base for a stick rather than what I initially expected, which was a yoke. 23 hours ago, SayAgain said: it sounded more like they were trying to convince themselves it’s working well rather than it actually working well … takes a lot of tweaking just for one very specific aircraft. I think this is an issue that all FFB products are suffering from right now. The lack of support and documentation from MS/Asobo is leading to the absence of a minimum standard to work with. On top of that, the high price of these units doesn't help increase the user base, which in turn doesn't put pressure on MS/Asobo. Unfortunately, although X-Plane does provide that documentation and support, the user base is too small for the investment that these types of products require. It's a shame because Austin has offered his help and support in this regard on several occasions.

Well that would be a bummer, not really interested in a stick … even less interested in a FF stick. Maybe there is a market for FF sticks so wish them success. Whatever yoke I go with would need to work well in both MSFS 2024 and XP12 and have a good selection of buttons. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
