Turn off the lights in the room and do some night flying, that LCD will glow and is a major distraction in terms of emersion. OLED burn-in is not a problem unless you leave the monitor on 48 hours with the exact same image (disable it's internal screen saver, disable it's pixel shift process, and disable it's image cleaning process) ... I mean you really have to go out of your way to force burn-in on OLED. Not sure I understand why you want a "curved" monitor in the 27" range unless you sit about 5"-6" away from monitor? All the LCD 27" curved monitors I could find are 1920 x 1080 ... Noel is 3440 x 1440. But agree it is hard to find an OLED in 27" ... most are 34" on upwards when it comes to curved. Well we are all entitled to our opinions and we will have to agree to disagree when it comes to both backlight issues and OLED burn-in. The monitor I am getting is QHD 27 inch curved which in my opinion is the best resolution for 27 inches. My eyes are positioned 26 inches from the monitor. I don't want a larger monitor - even if I did I would want to increase my viewing distance and the arc of view would end up being exactly the same in any case - but for me less immersive because of the physically increased viewing distance.

Autoexposure adjustments enters hysteresis resulting in a flickering or strobing effect. Might be something MS/Asobo could look into. Unable to replicate during day, only night. It’s definitely related to only MSFS 2024 as Xplane 12 and P3D don’t exhibit the issue. Definitely NOT related to LCD/OLED. Good suggestion Rob - I'll give this a go. I've never adjusted the MSFS Auto exposure setting from its default 100 so will dial it back a bit and see what happens.
