2020 update

Featured Replies

So i fly back and forth in 2024 and 2020.

Thou the latest 2020 update has caused some performance issues with stutters and fps fluctuations.

Shader cache all cleaned.

Before the update was silky smooth.

And pc is high end.

The "update" is only the latest, monthly AIRAC cycle. Not causing any problems at my end.

Interesting, could it be server related ?

A new beta build for 2020 dropped today

5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX  9070XT.

I think maybe something's going on server side, because yesterday I got stutters all over when landing at EDDL and today I had some loggin issues and had to reboot my PC before firing up MSFS2020 again. During the second start-up everything was back to normal and the sim looked very fluid this time.

Cheers, Ed
