March 17Mar 17 Author Response received from Microsoft " Good day Emile De Mesmaeker The “a” driver you’re seeing isn’t an error , it’s typically part of the update process where Windows drops in new components or reorganizes system files. Sometimes these folders look odd because they’re named generically, but they’re usually tied to hardware support, graphics, or multi-monitor setups. Since you’ve got three monitors, it’s very possible the update added or refreshed display-related drivers to keep everything running smoothly. What you should do is check Device Manager to confirm that all your monitors are detected properly and that there are no warning icons on the drivers. If everything looks clean there, you don’t need to take any action, the system is just doing its housekeeping. If you want to be extra cautious, you can run sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt to verify system integrity, but in most cases it’s not necessary. Don’t delete or manually move those new folders. Windows Update manages them, and removing them could cause stability issues. If you notice any display glitches (like resolution resets or flickering), then I’d suggest reinstalling your GPU drivers from the vendor’s site (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel depending on your setup). Otherwise, you’re good to go. If you find this helpful, Kindly mark "Accept Answer", so that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find . Your contribution is highly appreciated. April 10Apr 10 I have had Onedrive created as a hidden folder. It has moved P3d files into this folder so now sim not working. The simulator add ons are not designed to work from external files. Previously I remove Onedrive in the registry but now it returns.
April 13Apr 13 I had to take about an hour to rid Windows of all the Onedrive features. And get back to desktop, downloads, documents, pictures that do not interface in any way with Onedrive. I used the AI tab of Google Search to guide me, step by step. At any point, you can ask AI a question for more information, or to clarify, or to modify your conversation with it. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. April 14Apr 14 Fielder, SInce last Win11 upgrade I have noticed some disturbing things. THere is no desktop as such. have to use the Windows key and select from there. I deleted Onedrive in both the registry and file explorer. Every time I try to save a file I get "Access denied, you do not have permission to access Onedrive." I(t has taken over y fllght simulator files to the extent that the sim is no longer useable. It loads airplane files in the now defunct Onedrive I am not sure about Google AI as I have never used. As it stands I am going to have to give up my flying hobby of 30 years as I can no longer fight Microsoft. Any ideas please? Regards Kevin
