February 28Feb 28 Author I don’t think these are meant to be a replacement for ground-based power generation. The article talks about how this is geared for remote and/or temporary situations, as it doesn’t need extensive ground facilities to operate. And winds aloft are stronger and steadier than they are at ground level where conventional wind turbines operate. It’s a clever solution for what it’s intended for.
