Hotkey to sens ATC commands

Featured Replies

Hi,

using the trial version to consider if purchase the tool.

It's a real good tool also considering the possibility to use AWS voices that are really good.

The only doubt I have is regarding the need to always use several mouse clicks to be able to send requests to ATC (I use copilot auto respond).

Is it planned to have hotkeys allowing to select the wanted request and the related different variants related that?

This could also allow to create a sort of panel (that i have in mind) to still more speed the issue of the requests and their different possible options.

Thanks and kinf ìd regards

There is an item on the future enhancements list to explore adding numbers to the options so they can be chosen via the keyboard.  But this development effort has not been started or even planned at this point.

In the meantime, you can significantly reduce the amount of mouse clicks to just 6 or 7 for an entire flight if you let the copilot handle the communications and use the simple pilot options by unchecking the button with the copilot image at the top of the copilot area.  That will use simple calls that don't require follow-up selections, and you will only have to do this when there is an action requiring Pilot initiation, like request for taxi or takeoff.
