Update to Hangar/Simpit combo

Featured Replies

I finished my hangar and updated my my simpit from previous seen videos and just wanted to show all who are interested in getting ideas on building a simpit or place to house one in a new video. For the hangar, I poured and epoxy floor and redid the walls and lighting to give an executive hangar look. The only thing left to do in the future is put a roof mount a/c on. as for the simpit, its the extra 430/kln90 gps, Comanche flap bar and a few other items that have been added or switched out.

Nice job man!! Any plans to upgrade those pedals? I had those pedals. They use potentiometers instead of hall effect sensors. When the pots go, flying becomes wonky, unpredictable and disrupted. Also, the brakes break very easily as the springs are anchored to thin plastic plates.

Your dog is lovely.

That SOB?!..yeah he was a great one. Its a lot of the breed as they love to work with/for you. He was a Brittany. That video was when he was young and in training from back in 2005-06 era but shortly after he was always off leash and I could leave him on a bench or golf cart at our busy marina for an hour and come back and he would still be there bc he knew his release word.  He worked with me everyday at the marina and rode around on my golf cart. He had a great life for sure and I said goodbye to him back in 2017 where he was 14 and health to the end.

Yeah, I'm looking at getting force feedback pedals in the future. Will be my last upgrade to the simpit.  Going to add a roof a/c to the hangar next year. I'm just finishing my van build for my home and that set me back but totally worth it.
