Random attacks by our felines do happen. I have learn't to sense when one is happening and grab a cushion as a shield. Lots of ideas why, some of them possibly valid. In my cats case I think he just likes combat. His Adrenalin tanks get full and he fancies a punch up. If you play with him slightly aggressively you can see his eyes light up as he's thinking. "awesome, time to be the feline Bruce Lee."

I'm annoyed with my cat today. 🙁 I let him out at 9:30 and told him to be back by 10:30. Nope, it was nearly midnight so today I'm tired and grumpy. No cat flap, so I would have had to have gone downstairs to let him in if i'd gone to bed. 😴
