can someone help me change the jetway connection from L2 back to L1.. I have tried everything humanly possible but unable to do it.. I know it is realistic to connect to L2 but msfs jetways are so broken most of them can't stretch that far and they break apart with a gaping hole.. Ideally we should have dual jetways for widebodies.. Until then I prefer L1 even if it's a 380.. 

I downloaded gsx profiles, played around with gsx aircraft profile, and all sorts of things.. I saw one of the A330driver videos where he had the jetway to L1.. Also saw some flightsim.to profile that had L1 active.. But that same profile didn't work on machine.. Perhaps outdated..

for the 330, I think it depends on what door is closest to the jetway.

No it always goes to L2 even if it means the jetway breaks apart with a gaping hole.. Have tried many things to set it to L1 with no success.. Just curious how few may have done it.. Maybe an older version before SU4? 
 

Anyway I have resigned to this and have started enjoying the aircraft which is pretty darn good for a stock aircraft.. I have handpicked gates at major hubs where jetways don't break while connecting to L2.. That's my workaround for now.. Payware airports are better in this regard.. Stock KATL and KJFK, EDDM have jetways that break.. 
 

Patiently waiting for dual jetway support like SODE which will take care of all this..

So wanted to drop a quick note here that today I was flying the Inibuilds A330-300 and in fact i managed to dock the jetway to L1 (this was at BKPR) . The only thing is I do not have GSX installed yet or any GSX profile for this scenery.

I looked up BKPR - it's a very small airport (mainly for GA) and doesn't have any heavy stands.. did you mean LKPR by any chance?

will try without gsx and report back.. 

Open GSX, select customize aircraft and disable the L2 door. That might help.
