May 6May 6 I rarely take screenshots because my favoured app seems to be discontinued, although I also forget to press the button. I wonder what the favoured apps are here? Nothing fancy, just press and forget. Thank you Rob J Rob Jones.
May 6May 6 Just kinda depends on how fancy/automated you want to get …? Like, I just took a screenshot the other day simply by pressing “Print Screen” and pasting it into MS Paint 😎 You can also use the built in Snipping Tool, which is more convenient. Theres also a simple in-game option, and if you’re running nVidia, one for that as well. the hardest part of screenshots (for me) is image composition (time of day, weather, angles, etc). But that’s all set up in the sim, anyway. The Showcase view is pretty helpful there, as well. eta: here’s what I was thinking of: https://gamerant.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-2024-how-to-use-photo-mode/ Edited May 6May 6 by UrgentSiesta
May 7May 7 I have a Tartarus little keypad and I wrote a macro for one button press which takes a screenshot. The screenshot goes into Windows’ default pictures folder. Jack Sawyer
