Also you're looking for a complex piston single to train with, I am partial to the Flysimware Sierra C24R

Of course, the A2A Comanche has even more...persistence...simulation of ownership etc.

Perfect - the Comanche looks fantastic. I mean, they both do but the Comanche in particular.

I'd recommend the following aircraft to start. Unknown about custom missions.

Carenado -

Cessna 182RG

Piper Arrow

Piper Seminole (a twin)

Cessna 337 (inline twin)

Justflight -

Piper Arrow

Aha, i missed the a/c recommendations earlier. Thanks for these. Oddly enough, I for some reason have the Piper Arrow! Thanks again!

I would add Black Square Bonanza (single) and Baron (twin) to the list. They are both superb

Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset

These are all good recommendations, but as mentioned above, you should first decide what kind of avionics you want to use for your training... If you would like to switch to "glass", you could choose the Garmin G1000 which is very common in these kind of aircraft, and well modelled in the sim, thanks to Working Title.. In this case, you do not need to purchase payware aircraft.. You might start in the Beech G36 Bonanza, and later upgrade to the TBM 930 or Beech Baron. All excellent default aircraft!

If you prefer analog gauges, coupled with a Garmin GNS530, I would suggest the Blacksquare A36 Bonanza, followed by the Baron etc..

If you would like the latest Garmin GPS, the GTN750, it can be purchased separately, later.. and added to these aircraft, in place of the GNS530. 🙂

Lastly, also consider what kind of autopilot you are comfortable with... The Justflight Arrow, for example, has a rudimentary autopilot which just might get you killed when you are in challenging conditions.. This, unfortunately, happens in real life too.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dOwr0jwF30

there a lot of things that can you get killed in real life ☠️🤣

The primary ways people lose their lives are broken down into a few specific areas:

1. The Major Global Health Threats

In both the Netherlands and globally, the vast majority of deaths are caused by chronic and lifestyle-related diseases. [1]

  • Cardiovascular Disease: The number one killer worldwide, including heart attacks and strokes.

  • Cancer: Malignant tumors are the second leading cause of death globally.

  • Respiratory Diseases: Conditions like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and severe respiratory infections. [1, 2]

2. Unintentional Injuries and Accidents

Accidents are the leading cause of death for younger populations, and hazards exist in everyday environments. [1, 2]

  • Transportation: Car crashes and traffic-related incidents.

  • Falls: Especially among older adults or from significant heights.

  • Poisoning & Overdoses: This includes accidental exposure to chemicals or lethal substances.

  • Drowning: A major risk in swimming pools, oceans, and natural bodies of water. [1, 2, 3, 4]

3. Environmental and External Factors

While rare compared to diseases, the outside world and everyday items carry very real physical risks. [1, 2, 3]

  • Weather Exposure: Dying from extreme heat or hypothermia.

  • Fire & Burns: Accidental fires or smoke inhalation.

  • Animals: While dangerous wildlife exists, you are statistically more likely to be killed by seemingly harmless animals like dogs or even insects. [1, 2]

so a rotten Arrow might be a dismissible case ...

As a student pilot, flying solo in marginal weather, the list gets a lot shorter..
