May 27May 27 Chat bubble that pops over your name plate for either custom typed message and/or quick chat phrases. Hello, want to fly together?, Go back to airport? Too close, too fast, etcThe amount of times i crouch spam to say hello with other players, seems like there is space for a feature like that.Multiplayer ATC interactions broadcast to your radio. Hearing others call final, takeoff, etc would be both helpful and immersive. Even if it was for only group playersShared cockpit, but not in the sense that everyone expects that requires aircraft devs to do coding black magic to get a fully functioning shared pit. But rather, just a camera in the passenger seat that you can look around, zoom in, or translate. A pure passenger mode. You have no idea how cool it would have been to throw my sis in the backseat of a jet or helicopter and fly her around. Imagine being able to ride on a 737 of your mate. Even if it was just group play. Walking up to someones craft and pressing a button would be ideal, but being invited to it like group play makes sense.lastly, ability to add colors to the name plate of your group.Anyway, let me know if you have any ideas or like these. I figure some social elements would go a long way!
May 28May 28 Author Should definitely be able to turn features off. But come on like you wouldnt like the passenger feature. I get ATC could be cumbersome outside of group play

I'm afraid people read bullet point one, and stopped reading. But its 2026, i hope things like shared cockpit view, integrated multiplayer ATC, hell even voice recognition ATC commands like say intentions to become standard features of MSFS of future year.

Quick chat features and custom color nameplate for group players very possible. Shared pit has been discussed, but devs meant fully controllable and clickable shared pit not likely soon. I shared cockpit camera that allows a passenger to switch seay views/move camera around maybe an easier feat. Id love to throw a family member who doesnt play flight sim in the back of jet and rip around/show them around. Fully integrated multiplayer ATC definitely is my fantasy alongside shared pit.

Yep we used to have both of these in a previous version of MSFS."The version of the franchise that featured in-game voice communication over radio frequencies was Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX). Released in 2006, it had a built-in Gamespy multiplayer system (and direct IP connection) where players could tune their aircraft radios to unicom frequencies and use an integrated push-to-talk voice chat to talk to each other while flying."
