June 10Jun 10 Hello,Little nav maps makes a slide show of my sim, while loading the scenery library. That didn't happen before.Any ideas ? I also noticed that LNM doesn't recognize addon airports anymore.Thank you,Scott Edited June 10Jun 10 by Captain Scott
June 10Jun 10 What sim? MSFS 2020, 2024, X-Plane 11, 12 or other?What has changed? Updated to a new sim?Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
Thursday at 01:35 PM5 days Ok. I did not see the tag. This is not normal except when loading the scenery library from the sim.I'd start to temporarily disable or remove other plugins (especially traffic plugins) which also use SimConnect and can have conflicts with LNM. You can also try to disable AI traffic transfer in the LNM connection dialog.Reduce LNM map details. Maybe too much stuff is shown.Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
Friday at 07:14 AM4 days Author Hi Alex,MSFS2024 was meant. I haven't changed a thing. I am using the latest version of LNM.The loading of my 3000 addons in the community folder takes about 6 minutes, while the sim is unplayable. With or without FSLTL.The start of LNM takes about 25 seconds. While I could live with that, I can't understand why LNM doesn't show my addon airports as such anylonger. No yellow circle around them.As I am using one community folder for both sims (20&24), I now change to 2020 library to see my addon airports. But that's not a good solution.

There is a lot of data flowing into LNM while loading but you don't have to do this every flight. I recommend to load it only after major simulator updates or add-on installation. LNM stores everything in its own databases.2 hours ago, Captain Scott said:The start of LNM takes about 25 seconds.A bit long. You can try to exclude the LNM installation folder and the settings folder C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel from anti-virus scanning.2 hours ago, Captain Scott said:While I could live with that, I can't understand why LNM doesn't show my addon airports as such anylonger. No yellow circle around them. This is a limitation of MSFS 2024 which does not give information about paths or add-on status and Asobo does not care. I cannot do anything about this, sorry. You can mark the add-ons manually from the map context menu.Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

Nevertheless. thank you for the help!It worked with MSFS 2020 where I could look at the path of files. MSFS 2024 changed everything, meaning that navdata must be read via SimConnect rather than from files. You're welcome. 🙂Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
Saturday at 07:15 PM3 days It would be VERY handy to have LNM "load scenery" able to only scan user selectable directories for only new or updated airports and just append them to the scenery database. That would save a ton of time loading scenery for those of us that use Addons Linker and store our user MSFS assets outside of Community directory. If you could create a load scenery option to only search user directories for times we only need to detect new 3rd party airports that would be very helpful. For example I just bought Aerosoft EDDS on sale and would like to add it to LNM scenery database, but a databases scan take 45 min. on my system. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

On my test computer it takes ten minutes.Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
