Hi to all MSFS2024 AI traffic users.

Spotty26-marketing-image.jpg

Spotty26 v1.4.1 is now released and can be updated via Spotty26's Menu/Check for update.

The update will also be available at your STORE ( www.simmarket.com www.flightsim.to ) in the next hour.

Changelog v1.4.0 > v1.4.1

Improved camera handling and selection as is had too many bugs introduced in v1.4.0.

Implemented ONE-CLICK feature to lock active camera( Flyby, Chase, Tower/Spotter) on selected user or ai aircraft either from map or from Traffic Board.

Improved sound when camera is locked on ai aircrafts (still a bug for MS/ASOBO to fix)

Spotty26 continues its journey toward becoming a **must-have utility for every MSFS 2024 flyer**, whether you're into plane spotting, cinematic flybys, AI traffic tracking, or simply enjoying the world from the perfect camera angle.

As always, feedback and suggestions are welcome. Enjoy the update and happy flybys and aircraft spotting! ✈️

I'm wondering if you have any insights on this. Despite SP1 update to IFly MAX 8, it still does this in Spotty26's Flyby. None of the other planes I use manifest this. When I contacted the developer they made this comment,

"Flight1Role icon, Flight1 — 11:35 AM

They cannot use the VC view with iFly as that is a deliberate incomplete model to maintain performance. In the external view there is no issue that we have seen.

  1. Whatever tool you (they're referring to Spotty26 here) are using, they need to use an external camera of some kind that loads the external model..."

Here's the issue, regardless of livery used:

What is that forehead on that aircraft in the thumbnail? 🤣

The iFly 737MAx is not displaying the external model, but rather the VC model when the new camera system that was introduced with MSFS2024 SU5 is activated.

IFly seems not to have made their model compatible with the new camera system in MSFS2024.

All other airplanes we have tested work fine with Spotty26 and the new camera system in MSFS2024.

Thanks for that, so it is their use of the external model that results in this. I will send this back to Flight1, FWIW.
