Yesterday at 11:43 AM1 day Just wondering if it is possible to stop MSFS reducing FPS to 30 from my normal 60 when running in the background (e.g.when using Littlenavmap)? I've checked my Nvidia settings to ensure background apps are not limited. Not a massive issue but it does take a few seconds for them to return to 60 when it is brought back into the foreground and can be slightly annoying.I use DLAA and 2X Nvidia framegen if that's any help.I think there may be an app which brings littlenavmap within MSFS but haven't tried that yet - any good? Yesterday at 11:46 AM1 day This is a consequence of nvidia's frame gen. It only works on active windows. AMD FSR may be worth a try, as it keeps working on non-active windows, but it might not be as effective, depending on your setup and other settings. -HenrikRyzen 7 7800X3D - RTX 5090 - 64gb DDR5 - Moza AB9 with MH16 Flightstick, WCTRL Airbus Throttle+hardware, Thrustmaster Pendular rudder.

It only works on active windows. That turns out to be a net plus for me because w/ an NV DLSS FG rate of 60 some textures produce rate-related strobing/pulsing and when it's bad it's bad. So I just park my cursor on my 2nd screen and voila the main screen goes to native rendering and the visual aberration resolves. Many scenarios I can get away with 90FPS-fg in which case we don't usually need to rely on that trick.
