Taxi2gate KMCO Airport for FSX?

Featured Replies

Hi

I was wondering if any other stores sell the Taxi2gate KMCO Airport for FSX?

Unfortuntaley I cannot see it on Simmarket or Txi2gate Page, however the FS9 version despit being legacy is still avaialble.

Thanks

Unfortunately also no replies to emails sent to Taxi2Gate

Hi,

Very strange that they are still marketing the FS9 version but not FSX! I've searched the few remaining vendors that I know of but cannot find it anywhere so it looks like their products are only sold through Simmarket.

That is unfortunate as it is a nice airport addon (although a little out of date now).

Absolutely such a shame and would have though the FS9 version would have gone before the FSX, sadly there is no way of obtaining it and Taxi2Gate support is non existent with no response which is such a shame.

I do though appreciate you having a look for me.

Simmarket has been slowly and quietly removing old legacy products for FS9, FSX and old P3D versions. That is why some products you used to remember seeing there are now gone.

You can tell this because when you do a web search for products like this, you will see the old Simmarket links appear in search results, but when you click on the links, you'll see they're broken because it's been removed.

It is very disappointing because I still like to buy payware for my older flight sims, especially for FSX.

Absolutely correct and sad too, even more disappointing is zero response when emailing the developer.

I really have no desire to move to the new versions of FS.

Many developers that made products for FSX no longer respond to emails about their legacy products, and you're right, it is disappointing.

However, you should always try to email them if you need to, because in my experience, developers can sometimes surprise you and they actually do respond. It can't hurt to try.

Also, I recommend you be patient, because there's also some developers that may not respond right away, but you may suddenly find a response from them in your email two weeks later (or even longer). I've had that happen too.
