  1. Hi, I would be really grateful if anyone could be kind enough to recommend any tweaks in terms of braking and/or stopping capability of the PMDG B777-200LR when landing. Unfortunately upon landing it appears to stop quicker than normal for example using Autobrake 2 makes still decelerate quicker with idle reverse selected. In real life for example landing on runway 22L KJFK you would use autobrake 3 or even 4, but even with autobrake 2 it still stops much quicker than it would. Many thanks.
  2. Hi I posted this in another forum but sadly did not receive any response, I am using FSX SP1 and SP2, my graphic card is AMD Radeon HD6800 series with the most latest driver being in 2015 as it is an old Graphic card. However please see the photo, as you can see the text looks compacted, for example the ground speed, "GS" the font looks squashed along with the readout of the wind direction "090". I would be very grateful for any help. Thanking you in advance.

  4. Hello When I disable AES, I am left with the one GSX jetway. Thanks
  5. Hello, I have gone back to using FSX (SP 1+2) on a new PC using Windows 10, my specs are as shown: Intel R Core i-5 -3450 CPU@ 3.10Ghz 3101 mhz, 4 Cores Installed Physical Memory RAM 8.00GB The issue I am having is with FSDT JFK V2, I use AES and GSX level 1, the problem is that at JFK there is overlapping jetways. I have taken the following steps: 1) uninstall and reinstall all FSDT products including JFK 2) run live update (FSDT) 3)checked for any conflicting AFCADS I have checked on FSDT forum and to be honest the moderator gives the impression from his responses to other users as quite unfriendly and defensive, in all it gives the impression of being unwelcoming. I would be really grateful for some help. Thanks
  6. Many thanks for your reply and suggestions, you are right about giving FS2024 ago and not to give up.
  7. Yes panning around indeed, just like I could in FSX. Such a shame MSFS 2024 did away with the 2D Pop out. Many thanks though for reponse.
  8. Again thank you very much, you did not need to do that, but you took the trouble and I thank you.
  9. That is very helpful, thank you so much for taking the trouble.
  10. @JonathanC Excellent advice, yes I think I do need to give it ago, I probably said the same about FSX when I first started. @bigifooti Many thanks, I will have ago at that, I also when looking at the aircraft in the external view, to view around it like I could in FSX
  11. Hi I have finally taken the plunge and installed MSFS 2024, having used FSX since then and got used to it, I am finding it difficult to indeed get used to MSFS 2024. I am using add-ons like PMDG 777 and find it really annoying you cannot have the 2D pop-out like the FMC, having asked PMDG they say that it is no longer been a feature since MSFS 2020. I miss many aspects about FSX and find MSFS 2024 a bit overwhelming, therefore do you think MSFS 2024 will eventually allow the 2D pop-outs like the CDU etc? I also use the CH Yoke, however again I cannot find ways of setting the way you look around the Flight Deck using the CH Yoke like I could in FSX, FS2024 seems more fidgety. I also wonder if you are using Active Sky weather generator using historical weather, and you request the METARS and ATIS from the PMDG 777 ACARS, does it read live or historical weather at that time. Thanks Adam Marks
