The only phone I want is a small one, to fit in pants pocket. I have a dumb "flip" phone. And an iPhone 13 mini.

In my opinion, "Amazon Renewed" is the best place to buy any used phone. The best guarantee is the reason. Being on Amazon and being renewed is not what I mean. I mean a genuine Amazon Renewed. Check the description below the listing and see if it says exactly this: "What is Amazon renewed?". That gives us the best guarantee.

Next, I would want one actually sold by Amazon or Woot. (Woot is owned by Amazon). This gives us both Sold by Amazon (or Woot) and Shipped by Amazon. This gives us the best return procedure (drop off stations all over town, no box or packing necessary).

With both of the above we have 1 the best guarantee and 2 the best return procedure.

It's hard to find both. The trick is to find the phone you want and then click on; "Other seller on Amazon" to see if any in the list is "Sold by Amazon" or Woot.

My wife still has her iPhone SE 1st generation, which is even smaller than an iPhone mini 13. I also had an iPhone 13 mini, but I dropped it once too often and recently replaced it with an iPhone 17e (along with/a case this time 🤪), which was the smallest current phone available. It fits in my pocket.
