July 31, 200817 yr Hi,I am farely new to xml so please bare with me :)I am making a windshield wiper gauge and a wiper gauge obviously goes back and forth. At the moment it is going anti-clockwise and then clockwise but I want it the other way around ( going clockwise first and then anti-clockwise ) Can someone tell me which part of the gauge to change?(G:Var1) (G:Var2) + (>G:Var1) (G:Var1) 2 <= if{ (L:Wiper, enum) (>G:Var2) } (G:Var1) 100 >= if{ (L:Wiper, enum) /-/ (>G:Var2) } (G:Var1) 100 < if{ (L:Wiper, enum) 0 == if{ 2 (>G:Var2) } } (G:Var1)Thank youKind RegardsJonathan

August 1, 200817 yr Another quick question. The wiper stretches out while rotating and shortens at another part of the rotation. How can I keep the wiper the same length all the way around? Also, is there a way to actually make it wipe the rain off of the windshield because at the moment it's just eye-candy lol.ThanksKind RegardsJonathan
August 2, 200817 yr No, the rain won't wipe away. Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.
August 2, 200817 yr Animated parts stretch when their pivot point is offset from the axis of rotation, your best bet is to attach the part to an animated cube and ensure that the pivot points of the two parts are in the same place, then link your parent animated part to your topnode.(or not)While a Hierarchy is the conventional method of assembly they are also not nessary, i find they cause more trouble than they are worth, every part is parented to the scene root anyway and dont fly off.
