June 26, 200421 yr Is there a way to tell FS9 to fill up an airport with aircraft? (i.e. place ga aircraft at 75-95% of parking spots) Extreme noob here, I'm just getting around to learning AFCAD. Modified (cleaned up) my home airport (KARR) and now I'd like to get some aircraft at it. Also the "linked" feature between AFCAD and FS9 in that only available with FSUCID or whatever it's called?Hey while I'm on it, is there a way to place big gouge marks on a runway such as the raping that happened at Meigs Field?
June 26, 200421 yr Author GA-traffic by markus brunner - there's a forum devoted to it here at avsim.Best, [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
July 8, 200421 yr Thanks Gridley, I'd seen that pgm and thought that maybe it'd be the way to go but wasn't sure if there was a "simple" way built into FS9. I'll investisgate GA-traffic further.
July 8, 200421 yr You can also use static aircraft. If you download and sna2004.zip and sna2004sp.zip, you will see many static aircraft. You would need to use a program, such as, Airport for Windows to add the static aircraft to your scenery. See the Oshkosh.bgl file. This file is also available from http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...ual_oshkosh.asp .W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
July 9, 200421 yr <>Just my 2 cents.....Remember that if you populate most of your parking spaces with aircraft, that will limit the number of AI flights into and out of your airport. If your airport does not have an available parking space, aircraft will not land there. If you are looking to increase the frequency of flights in and out, you need to look at Traffic Tools by Lee Swordy available here at AVSIM. You can create AI flight plans and even program GA's to stay in the pattern of your airport.
July 10, 200421 yr BTW I have posted the api's of these planes on the screenshot forum if anyone is interested. July 10, 200421 yr I will never understand placing static aircraft in scenery. You can make a weekly flightplan in AI Traffic and have it move one day in that week. It's much better to have AI than static just setting there.
