Using TerraScene and Autoasm?

Recommended Posts

I should, of course, have said 15 minutes in longitude not latitude!I had another quick look and I think I have found the problem. The coordinates of my TerraScene2 output text file are:- LowerLeft.latitude=40.0425LowerLeft.longitude=-106.1817UpperRight.latitude=40.6006UpperRight.longitude=-105.4586However, when you using the coordinates in the Project listing tab and converting them using the Ground2k4 convertor, I get coordinates of:-LL = 40.0425 = 105.818333UR = 40.600556 = 104.541389The latitude is ok but the longitude is offUsing these correct coordinates puts my scenery in the correct position. I don't know whether this is a bug in TerraScene2 or if it's just a problem with my system.Victor

Well I seem to have sorted everything out. I tried a few other bitmaps of the same area and they came out ok using the Terrascene text file. Not sure what happened with the one I mentioned above but it all seems ok now. I've had a go making roads and lakes for Rocky Mountain National Park and I'm quite pleased with the results. Tonight I'll add streams to see how they come out. The bitmap seems to show hundreds so I don't want to crowd my scenery! Once I've done that, maybe I should use AutoASM over the weekend to update my scenery for the rest of the US! :D :D Victor
