If only the cached DAT file consisted of image textures like in WorldWind it would be worth playing around with.I get pretty good results with them if you don't mind flying above about 3500ft, which is probably where most of our flight time is spent anyway.With a spreadsheet and macro to create a multisource INF file it's only a matter of resizing 30 or 15m source tiles to 10 or 5m respectively and you've covered a degree or so in no time. You get an even better result if you resize the resultant Fsim textures to 512 x 512.Andy

OF ALL those satellites/companies, photographing most everywhere,NONE of them have asked for OUR permission to photographOUR HOUSES ! ! ! And MANY of them **WILL** make money with that ! Blue skies.
