March 9, 200422 yr Hi Alex.I tested your website with Mozilla and with Opera. The same problem on these browsers.I have a little experience with webdesign.Try to make the page fit into 1024x768 WITHOUT horizontal scroll bar.Make the page vertically scrollable.A web-page is only correct when it is viewable in 800x600 and higher. So , in 800x600 mode a horizontal scroll must be available. In 1024x768 there should be NO horizontal scroll. But vertical scrolling should always be available, for the whole page, the conter included. To test the functionality of your page.Make the browser-window smaller and have a look. The menu does not scroll , the right side does. The whole page should scroll.RegardsLeen
March 9, 200422 yr Maybe this is a good example.set your monitor at 1024x768goto www.leendejager.nlthe Home page has a vertical scroll and NO horizontal scroll. If you make the window smaller , a horizontal scroll will appear.goto OPENINGSTIJDEN , mind, this page has no vertical and no horizontal scroll. When you make the window smaller a vertical scroll appearsright away, a horizontal scoll however appears only whenthe with of the window is 800 or less. This page can be viewed in any resulution without problems in all browsers.RegardsLeen
March 10, 200422 yr Leen,Again, thanks for the feedback. We've made some significant changes to the site based on your recommendations. We've had to make one compromise, the counter is only visible in resolutions greater than 1024x768 but you'll only know this because I'm telling you.Additionally, all graphics have been drastically improved (at the expense of some bandwidth). We hope you like it.Thanks again,http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/banneraa.jpg

March 10, 200422 yr Author Hi all! With the latest version, I have a (minor) problem with Mozilla. The links frame has two scrollbars that break the layout at any resolution:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/66589.jpgThat must have to do with the "overflow" properties.Pascal
March 10, 200422 yr Runs as fast as a hard disk file on my 2/3 T1 cable connection. Very nice! Thanks.
March 11, 200422 yr Pascal,Could you try this again?Thanks!http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/banneraa.jpg
March 11, 200422 yr Author Alejandro,Sorry, still the same! (except the nice Dauphin on the background!)I never learned how to use frames, so I can't figure what's wrong with this one. :-hmmmPascal
