April 6, 200521 yr HiSounds good. Has anybody expirience how to use this tool and/or data to create photorealistic scenery for FlyII, especially Europe ?The resolution seems to much higher than all other free Landsat7 images I found on the web.Harald
April 7, 200521 yr yeah but for scenery creation for a simulator I personally think that the resolution you get in Europe with World Wind is still not adequate. I don't see it as a source of a 'simulator' scenery but simply an outstanding program in its own right - specially for those living in the USA. April 13, 200521 yr Hi guys,I agree It`s fantastic.MIND!Do not forget to remove the cache folder from the World-Wind directory after using the program , it grows sooooooo---- big!RegardsLeen
April 16, 200521 yr Author Finally managed to try the program briefly last night. The main problem has been the download which takes a long time if one doesn't have broadband.Although the website recommends installing and running bitTorrent to download World Wind I found it too slow and used one of the alternative sites (wayne.edu) and Star Downloader which was much faster.:-walksmile
April 16, 200521 yr yip your right mate, If you dont have broadband dont bother. Though once installed its great. Thanks Leen for your advice :-) Steve[divalign=center]http://www.wrexhamspace.org/sig.jpg][/divNASA ATX Graduatehttp://www.wrexhamspace.org
