Talked to Graham

Wow, just read all these PSS is AWOL threads. Crazy, but I left PSS when FS9 came to market, so they lost me when they decided to put their new Airbus (A330/A340) ahead of the A320 fleet FS9 update.

I really don't understand some people, would you hound somebody like Perfect flight or Abacus because the design had issues eh?PSS provided a simulation, it's really up to you if you buy it or not.The way I understand it, Norman was left the job (Because of the excessive demand) to construct a 'Load Editor' for the T7 and 757.While trying to do this as well as hold down a demanding job AND run A FAMILY he suffered an extremely bad accident which could well have been fatal! Now Norman and I have crossed swords on more than one occasion so it's not as though he is my buddy. He had to put reality as his preference hence, my referral to reality coming before fantasy. It was Norman and another that rescued PSS from the attack suffered a couple of years ago, I think, and thus they were included in the team.I cannot explain why Graham decided to not say anything but as I go through life ,I know and you do too that, some people lack communication abilities and when things go wrong that they cannot control, they disappear. All these things are real life and can never be ignored. For gods sake guys lighten up. PMDG and Level-D are still providing us (Happily) with very near accurate simulations as did PSS in their day.Nothing lasts forever!Rob has now, bless him, decided to continue support for a product he loves. Instead of wasting your time knocking PSS, back-up Rob with his support on here and forget the past? Look forward, it's folly and wasteful to keep looking back. Yes, I have bought pSS products too but I have also bought others as well. I can remember when I thought that the PSS A320 was the best thing ever designed, we have come along way since then in a very short time.If I could have been payed back all the money I have spent on things I regretted in life I would be a very rich man now but, life's not like that and nor will it ever be.Edit: A full working full motion Level D simulator cost's millions more than the simulations we enjoy using with our P.C's. Let's just be thankful of that eh?Now I've got to take the dog for it's walk ;-)

Dave,I actually agree with you in most respects. Also, as someone who has (I hope objectively) 'defended' PSS on many occasions and still enjoy my purchases, I bear them no actual ill-will. I think we're just being objective and factual as we see it.That said, again you're right, PSS is officially silent and there is nothing more to be gained from pointing out the obvious 'facts' of the current situation. regards,MarkPet the pup one time for me - coincidentally mine is tugging away as I write this so off we go too :)

Regards,

Mark

My PSS 777 is by far the most fabulous aircraft I'veever had. My FSX in Vista runs excellently & when this happens, you just can't go back to FS9.I dream of the day someone will make this 777 run in FSX.I loved the panel weather radar! PMDG does not offer this. For me it was a brilliant artistic feat, yet to be equalled.Remember folks, Vincent van Gogh, in his later years, wastrailed in the streets with people hitting him with sticks.and he never sold a painting in his life. Let's face it. PSS have provided second rate products since their superb baby bus range, and utter crap support thereafter. Concorde?! Nothing like it. Looks nice panel-wise, but that's were it ends.Frankly PSS are better off dead. They've contributed nothing at all to the hobby for years.Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/temp/avsim.gifConcorde Training Captainwww.bavirtual.co.uk

Feel better now? Why are you here if that is how you view PSS?The state of recent products is your opinion. Others are more than satisfied.
