November 24, 200223 yr >I think I'll write a quickie program you can run to change >the Co-pilot voices (and pilot too for that matter). Hi Scott,Excellent idea! will be apreciated. by many !!!
December 1, 200223 yr I would third that idea! Since during pushback and taxi the F/O always does the radio work, I would like the pilot & co-pilot to have the same voice as if they are the same person. Since I am the Captain and the pilot flying I would never do the radio anyway. Plus I'm not sure how I like another voice pretending to be me.Greg
December 1, 200223 yr Greg,I'm not sure what you mean by needing the Pilot and Co-pilot to have the same voice. If you hand the comms to the CP, then that's who does all the talking. If you don't hand comms to the CP, then it's the pilot (you) doing all the talking. The voice change program won't allow you to assign the same voice to pilot and co-pilot anyway. Also, if you want to make your own pilot wavs (so you can have you being you), go to the Flight Deck RCv3 page http://fsflightdeck.com/rcv3 and DL the scripts and recording utility. The readme tells you what you need to know.
December 1, 200223 yr Scott,I'm not sure I read the manual enough but I get the impression that I do the radio until in the air and then the F/O does the radio if I wish. Is this correct or can the F/O do as much as I want ?Greg
December 1, 200223 yr Commercial Member you can give the comms to the co-pilot at any time, and he/she will do all the comms. JD Read my blog
December 2, 200223 yr Greg,As JD said, you can hand comms to the CP at any time from the beginning. I hand them over after getting taxi clearance though to avoid parking brake setting issues. Besides, I'm prepping for take-off. ;-)
December 10, 200223 yr Hi Scott,>I can always put up anyone as a >non-processed voice. Now that I have the program installed I can see (hear) what you mean.It would be great if you could make the other processed co-pilot voices also availlable as unprocessed (Bob, David, Michael, Phil, Rick, and Sara). I guess you will then publish them on your Flight Deck website, but if you feel like mailing them (zipped) to me that would be OK too.Thanks,:-wave
December 10, 200223 yr I don;t mailing a bunch of 4-7 mb files would be a great idea. I'll see about making all the chatter pilots available for CP.
