Download version only. ;-)Rob

Goef, Right now we can choose a gate number on the options page. Maybe ramps or GA parking could be added to this list. I'd like to see your second suggestion as well. Right now there are only the 3 choices of aircraft... jet, turboprop, and prop. A fourth might be GA. :-) The current prop setting probably should stay as is because of the larger props out there. ;-) New ideas like these are what made RC3 such a huge improvement over RC2 and never mind the default atc. Thanks,Rob

Rob,> Right now we can choose a gate number on the options page. >Maybe ramps or GA parking could be added to this list.Hmmm...where have I heard this suggestion before...several times? ;-)>I'd like to see your second suggestion as well. Then I'm given correct handling and altitude and crossing, etc, etc."Prop" to me means GA. However, a Gulfstream V is also a GA. My GuardRail Corporate 757-200 is GA. Anything not regularly scheduled or specifically for paying passengers is GA to me. ;-)

Scott, Looks like you only need one checkbox then! LOL Agreed, any prop DC7 size or bigger would benefit from checking the turboprop option.Rob

Actually my request was not to have gates-not terribly realistic for a General Aviation airplane. Taxi to the ramp-or when getting a clearance "beech 68g at the Ga ramp"-not 14 or 16...quite honestly I didn't even know what it meant the first time I got my clearance with rc.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

I'd have to second (or third?) the idea for GA ramp option. It would be great for a check box (or something) to get a "taxi to General Aviation parking" or something to that affect. Thanks for an awesome product. There's nothing better than flying real weather (via ActiveSky wxRE) and getting chewed out by Center having realistic interaction with ATC.Bradley Dykes

Thank you, Hermit! Hmmm.... does GA then mean, aircrafts for carrying passengers other than military or cargo?Kind regards, Sam

Ga means "General aircraft".Here is a simple definition from the Civil Air Patrol:Gerneral Aviation is defined as all civil avaition other than flying done by scheduled air carriers and governmental agencies. It is the largest segment of the aerospace inducstry."Note "largest"-the commercial carriers get all the press and glory but if I recall GA traffic is roughly twice as much!Ga is divided into:InstructionalPersonalSport (Homebuilts, Ballooning,Soaring, gliding, antique,Racing, ultralights)Business (small commercial carriers, individual small businesses, and cargo)Hope that helps.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg

Thank you, Geof! If I fly an Airbus from Hamburg to Dusseldorf carrying passengers, would that aircraft be considered as GA-Aircraft then?Sam

...isn't that what I said?* :-* Options added for ramp calls or GA parking, plus being able to fly a tighter circuit in approach. Sounds good to me.Best regards, Rob

Got it! Thank you for your patience! ;-)Sam
