Radar Contact is a great program!

I've only had RC for 2 days now, and I'm throughly enjoying it. Besides being a much more featured ATC than the default MS one, I had no idea about the "flight critque." My first two flights, from KBGR -> KBWI and KJFK -> KBWI went well, and I got congratulated for my excellent performance. I thought, "yeah, I'll bet that's what you always say." Um, no.I flew from KSFO -> KLAX but accidently programmed my FMC for KSFO -> KBWI. While trying to figure out the problem, the ATC told me they hoped I didn't drive that way (I was weaving all over the sky trying to find my own navigation). Then, when I finally arrived at KLAX, I was lectured about maintaining course. Then, Bill Stevens with the FAA had a talk with me. Busted! LOL!Well, just had to share my adventures with someone. I think I'm going to gear up for another flight. Hopefully this time I won't be needing the services of an FAA investigator. :)Tim Dobrowolsky

no arguments here...very well done program

I'm constantly getting balled out for not listening. I'm usually expecting an instruction; I get it and comply; I'm then pleased with my actions and fail to respond to the controller. http://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg

you can always select pilot auto-reply on the options...jd

I put the co-pilot to work on the radios. It's great to be able to fly the plane without having to handle radios at the same time. Also, RC allows you to "command" the co-pilot to do requests by pressing the menu numbers. Very nice.Plus she's good at flying the plane at cruise (not my PSS or DF or CapSim aircraft :( ) In fact, I've started flying MS panel stuff (MelJet!) simply because, who needs a fully featured FMC when you've got a co-pilot? :)Looking forward to 3.1 .....
