They told me to post this here.It seems everytime I run FS Skyworld with auto install/random and rc 3 that my computer crashes about the time I reach my first waypoint.I run FS Skyworld without rc 3 and it is OK.I haven't actually tried running rc 3 without FS skyworld since I installed it but it was working fine up to now.I have fsuipc 2.975 and Advdisp 2.01.Thanks for any suggestions.Ron

If you have not already done so please download Radar Contact version 3.01.1.) Download from http://www.jdtllc.com/v3/rcv301.zip2.) To install version 3.01, backup your rcv3.exe and unzip the file in this zip into your rcv30 folder.Two things you must do with this build! 1) You must set your transitions altitudes (Controller Info page) on the first flight you run, after installing this build. they will be set to 0 2) If you are using a batch file to adjust the priorities, you can forget all that. now a simple shortcut will do. a) To increase the priority to high, the command line for the shortcut will be "c:Program Filesrcv3rcv3.exe" /high :( For realtime, it will be "c:Program Filesrcv3rcv3.exe" /realtime c) For low, it will be "c:Program Filesrcv3rcv3.exe" /lowIf these two items do not improve the situation let us know. This time tell us exactly what is crashing and provide an error message if available. Finally tell us what flight planner you are using.

I know I am running rc 3.01.I think I am running the latest adv display but not sure.I did whatever was recommended in your forum.Will check it tonight and also get error message.Thanks,Ron

Please note in response to another post on the FS2K2 AVSIM forum there is a patch file I think as well as a .ini file to be edited for FSSkyW's most recent version. Do a search on it.

Also, you can always write directly to Chris and see what help he can offer.

Ron, If you leave the cloud.ini as default and only turn off the weather message to off (cloud.ini), fs sky world do not use fsuipc at all.
