I'm wondering what the upgrade policies are with Radar Contact. I'd like to purchase ASAP, but don't want to be dinged with ANOTHER purchase a month down the road if theres a V 4 coming out soon. What's the projected release time, and what wil the upgrade policy be for purchasers who just bought V3?Gavinhttp://www.interprom.com/gavhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

late 2004 is about as good a guess than any. it won't be next month.jd

I think his real question and I am wondering it also is, when Version 4 is released, will people who purchased Version 3 be charged FULL price for this next release or would there be a "special" upgrade price for existing users. Or is it a "free" upgrade for existing customers?ThanksAnthony Padovano

it will not be a free upgrade. 3.1 was a free upgrade to 3.0, 2.1 was a free upgrade to 2.0there has always been, and there will be a special upgrade price for registered 3.x users to 4.0 - it will not be a full purchase price, to upgrade to 4, from 3.xjd

Looks like a wait for V4 is the way to go given the current version's AI awareness limitations. The trouble with that timing is that you may only have 6 months or so before FS2006 and what further complications that may bring. Bruce
