November 9, 200421 yr I see that RC3 cost $44 and I think I have read that an upgrade fromRC3 to RC4 will cost $10 less the the new price for RC4.If RC4 will cost $44 this means that buying RC3 now means an additional cost of $34 compared to getting only RC4 when it comes.Do I understand this correctly or do I miss something? I mean $34 extra for usin RC during two months (I have read RC4 expected around Januarey) sounds rather pricy.
November 10, 200421 yr JD,Now THAT reply just got you another customer the second RC4 comes out! It's very rare that a developer tells prospective customers to hold off for the next version! Very commendable! Also, from lurking here in the forum I get the feeling that not only will RC4 be my next must-have addon for FS (after the PMDG 737,747-400 and MD11, Active Sky 2004.5, FSBuild and Ultimate Traffic) but also your support seems to be quite outstanding! Can't wait to finally retire the intellectually challenged MS ATC! (No, I won't bug you about release dates, I'll just keep on lurking here until the release announcement)Best RegardsMax (Bern, LSZB)http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg
November 23, 200421 yr JD,Well, after hearing a lot about RC3 in the PMDG and Active Sky forums, I of course checked your webpage and this forum. In this forum I quickly got the info that RC4 is in the pipeline and that it will take care of AI aircraft much better than V3 already does (like I said I use ultimate Traffic), among other things, plus that it will be downloadable, which I much prefer over shipped CDs (yes, I'm impatient once I buy something). This made me want to wait for RC4. If I had no knowledge about the new version I would probably already be using V3 now :-) Anyway, I'm looking forward very much to RC4.Best RegardsMax (Bern, LSZB)http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

November 29, 200421 yr Author >you should wait until v4 comes out>>jdSo am I right that RC4 can be expected around January next year? Or can it take significantly longer? Default ATC is really stressing my patience.
November 30, 200421 yr Commercial Member i honestly can't say. ai is really stressing me out. i'm trying to control them, and talk to them in a logical manner. and then along comes along a plane at 350 contacting approach. i have to clean up how rc handles that, so rc doesn't look stupid.jd JD Read my blog
