RC flight plan fail to open

Featured Replies

I've just installed RCv4 with no problems, but when I tried to run for the first time I get the following message when I try to load an existing flight plan from FS2004: Run time error '713': Class not registered. You need the following file to be installed on your machine. MSSTD FMT.DLL What have I missed or did the program not install correctly? Any help to get me up and running (flying) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Al Hahn

John, thanks for responding. I followed the thread you sent and did a search for the MSSTDFMT.DLL in my system 32 folder and the search came up with nothing to report. So what is next? I tried another flight plan making sure to have at least one waypoint between the departure and destination and I still get the same error message on loading a flight plan. Any suggestions would sure be helpful. Keep in mind I'm not a computer whiz and would prefer not to dabble in the system config files if at all possible. I was hoping for a fairly straight forward install with no "tweaking" involved. Al Hahn
