December 19, 200520 yr Is anyone using this hardware with RC4? When ever I start up the MCP FS9 hangs as soon as the weather briefing reaches the end and only releases again when the ATIS resumes. Same with any other radio contact. Shut down the MCP and everything works fine.Neale Washington

December 19, 200520 yr Moderator Hi Neale,I have the Aerosoft MCP which I use with Project Magenta Boeing software. I've not enountered any problems running the MCP.EXE that PM provide. However, I haven't tried it with the Aerosoft executable. Is that how you're using it? Default FS aircraft or a 3rd party addon and if so, which one?Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). In both cases I've used it with RC3 and now RC4. I have not experienced the problem you are experiencing but if you provide more details about your setup we can dig a bit deeper.-michaelRC4 Beta Team
December 20, 200520 yr Ray/Michael,I'm using the LDS 767 and also before that 767PIC. I've been using RC3 with no problems. The executable is the last that Aerosoft supplied with the dll from the LDS767. From your speed of answering I'm wondering if any of you actually sleep. You've actually told me what I wanted to hear that RC4 does in fact work with the MCP and LDS767, so the problem is most likely hardware. I do have a large number of switches running through the MCP so will need to experiment a little. This was probably not the best time to ask for help as we are about to drive halfway across Australia to our kids for Xmas (Adelaide to Sydney).I will check back with any success when we return. Thanks again for the promp response. RegardsNeale Washington
December 20, 200520 yr Hi Francesco,A rather nice piece of hardware that looks like and works like a Boeing 'autopilot' panel.I don't have one unfortunately :-(All the best,John
