December 26, 200520 yr In my attempt to fly a flight last night (ADV Display affecting my fps -- another post), I departed from Metcalf Airport (KTDZ) in Toledo, Ohio. This is an uncontrolled a/p. But RC told me to contact ground, tower, etc. I just looked up the a/p data with AFCAD, and my a/p files have it as uncontrolled.....no tower or ground.....has Unicom, approach, departure, clearance, but no tower!Rick
December 26, 200520 yr Hi Rick,Not sure about how you can have clearance without ground or tower but, to answer the question ;-)RC has it's own database of controller frequencies. These are displayed on the controller info page once you have loaded a plan. You can change them there if they don't match what you want them to be.All the best,John

They show a Unicom, APP, DEP, and CLEARANCE freq., but no tower or ground. This is truely a un-controlled airport. I'm just curious were RC is getting its data from, since FS9 shows it as a uncontrolled airport als?Rick
December 26, 200520 yr Hi Rick,Excuse me while i remove my foot from my mouth ;-)To be honest I can't remember which database was used for the frequencies. If you use the airport much send the info to jd and it can be included in an update. For now try disabling tower and ground on the controllers page. All the best,John
