Autosave in RCV4

Featured Replies

I have noticed that Autosave within RCV4 is saving files at one minuite intervals and is buildig up a large file also the same days of the week is being grouped together with different dates.Does anybody know what numbers are best in the config file of autosave so as to reduce the number of files savedThanks in advance

my understanding, you can configure autosave to keep n number of files, and then they start over writing each other.you can also set autosave to save every m minutes.between the two, you can do just about what ever you want.jd

I noticed this also. Autosave only keeps the number FLT and WX files based on the number you set in the cfg. However, RC4 also makes a corresponding RCD file for every autosave but neither program has the ability to delete them when the FLT & WX are over written. For example, I save the flight every two minutes and keep two FLT files. At the end of a two hour flight I end up with 2 FLT and WX files, but 60 RCD files. No big deal, they are small and easily deleted.BradKELP/KBIF http://home.elp.rr.com/bmbanister/BannerSig_BMBanister.jpgAMD Athlon XP 2600, Asus A7V600, 1GB PC3200 DDR, NVidia 128MB GeForce 6800, SB Live

Pardon my ignorance with this, but I'm not sure what you mean or how I can configure this program since it is only a .dll file? Where is the config interface to allow me to configure autosave?Regards,Tom
