February 13, 200620 yr JD,I downloaded the 4.01 upgrade and installed it (no key requested). The RCV4 folder shows rcv4.exe created on 12/16/2005, updated 1/27/2006.The PDF installation document in the RCV4 folder created 12/16/2005 modified 1/20/2006 shows rcv401.When I load RCV4 the main panel says Radar Contact Version 4.0.3737.I am puzzled. Did the download & installation worked correctly ?When installing I didn't notice any strange or error message. Roger See my specs in my profile
February 13, 200620 yr I just updated it and rcv4.exe says 27.01.2006 and the rcv4.doc says 17.01.2006..When i start the program i can see it's version 4.0.3737 and i can also see the changes made. However - like the one posting before me, i'm not requested for a key!?!?Then the new rcv4.doc file of 17.01.2006 - the old one had the date: 11.11.2005 - shows how the box, where you choose the voices, looked like in the old version. Why doesn't it show how it looks like now?You do call it an update, so one will assume it has to be installed into the existing library. If one have to remove the old library first, then it's a new version and not an update! So - i am a bit puzzeled also..CheersLars Kl
February 13, 200620 yr Hi there,4.0.3737 is the correct build for v4.01It is installed into the existing RC folder, nothing should be removed before installing the update. The manual probably has a bit of catching up to do with the new voice setup ;-)All the best,John
February 13, 200620 yr Thank's John. Now i just hope i can find out what to do with those sliders next to the name. It's probably not a matter of turning up or down the volume...
