Rcv4 & Airac Updates

Featured Replies

Just wondering...recently updated Fsnav to airac 606 from Navdata site and noticed Radar Contact 3x on the list. Had a look around the Data folder in Rcv4 and came across an entry with airac 0408. What's to go here? Are we supposed to update these as they come along or doesn't Rcv4 use them?

nope, i get that information from the .plnjd

Waypoints data comes from the flightplan. Navaid frequencies at the airport come from the database build.RC does not autotune nav receivers so the coordinates in the .pln file is all it needs.Waypoint coordinates come from your flight planner. You would update your flight planner if it accepts AIRAC updates.
