HI Guys !! In the RC4 Database there is not the tiger airways company. How can I insert it in the databese? Thank YOu Alfredo

it's on the v5 list. difficult/impossible to add it to v4jd

Hi !!Thank You for your reply but i ignore what is V5 and V4.. I opened the C4 Exell file in the data folder and i can see a list of airline. t the bottom i joined TIGER AIRWAYS,TIGER,,00,0 but i cant see the airway inserted..Thank You Alfredo

It is not enough just to modify c4.csv file and you are taking a risk by modifying it. Audio files must be created for all of the controllers and pilots as well as script changes.Modifying an RC .csv file must be done carefully with a character editor, not a spreadsheet application. There is a risk with corrupting the formats. Only modify a .csv file when directed by an RC staff member.If the file dependencies are disturbed you could risk causing RC to fail.

If you, a long time away when it is released, upgrade to V5, jd has stated it will be there.A number of volunteers each record many phrases. To keep the voices matching, only phrases by these volunteers end up in the voice sets. Then these voices for ai pilots and controllers are processed to sound like radio communications. There are a number of volunteers who do sets for each nationality so an approximate real world accent placed on the English language is used. The organization required to modify these sets requires specific procedures in modifying files. It would be difficult to accomplish this by writing a user application.Version 5 contains many new phrases and recordings to accommodate new features in ATC command and response for both pilots and controllers. A call went out to our international set of beta testers (which included some pilots and ATC controllers) to research current airline names for the new version. A few controller sets and one pilot voice set were made for testing purposes.When all communications requirements which support the new features in RC Version 5 are locked down, many voice sets will be recorded incorporating pronounciation for new airlines including the one you request.RC "speaks" by selecting a script, specifying the voice selection (which controller, pilot, or co-pilot)of the moment, assembles the voice phrases from the specified voice according to the phrases in the script files, and then plays them to obtain as smooth a voice flow as possible with minimum taxation on computer system resources.It would be extremely difficult for each individual to add a "new" name or phrase.Other then bug fixes to get version 4.3 going for FSX, no other changes will occur for version 4.If you look at the head of this forum you'll see a note about adding new available voice sets to version 4. This means a new voice, not new phrases or names. The new voice will speak the same phrases and names as the other voices of the type (controller, ai pilot, etc.)Under RCV4 if you go to the winwood folder and open folder /15, you will see about 1,900 phrases and names for one controller voice set recorded by U.K. beta tester John Burgess. He had to record each of these, some probably done over a few times until it was correct. The recordings are then processed as previously described into the audio phrases that make up this folder. Multiply this process by the number of controllers, ai pilots, co-pilots, and the user pilot voice and you can see this is a huge task.I don't think the average user would like to hear a change of accent for the user recorded airline name in the middle of a phrase.
