Compatibility Question, can you help??

Hi all,Can anyone tell me whether co-pilot 3.5 for FSX is compatible with radar contact 4.3 for FSX? I have used a lot of flight planners including some very popular ones but radar contact gives me differing vectors from the flight plan i created and installed in RC. So can anyone tell me whether radar contact works with co-pilot 3.5?ThanksKelvin

what vectors are you speaking of? you're always going to get rc vectors within approach, regardless of what planner you use.you are also going to get vectors within departure, assuming it isn't a departure procedureany planner that saves files in fs9/fsx .pln file format will work with rc.jd

HelloI have Copilot for fs9 but its flightplan output is only compatable with its own included GPS, the plans wont even load into the default GPS.this is a real shame as its other functions are usefull.I use Flightsim Commander 7.7 which works fine with RC

Sorry i mustn't have made myself clear. When i create a flightplan in, say, fsbuild and load it in RC, the course and heading are different than where RC sends me. I cannot follow my flightplan because RC always tells me i need to get back on the correct heading...which isn't what is in my flightplan.Regards,Kelvin

in departure?in enroute?in approach?departure and approach decide where you go, not your flight plan. enroute shouldn't be a problem.if you can duplicate the problem, follow the directions at the top of the forum, generate a log. IMPORTANT, click debug before loading the .plnthen send me the .logjd

Enroute headings to waypoints in flight plan are not synchronous with RC even thought the same flight plan has been loaded into RC and FSX. This is when using fsbuild, fscommander, and fs default planner.

those are all supported planners, and i'd say close to everyone that uses radar contact uses one of them (throw fsnavigator in there as well). so follow the previous troubleshooting suggestions i made earlier. be sure to click debug BEFORE you load your .plnthen send me the .logi'll figure out what is going wrongjd

ok thanks JD. I must say that everytime i have created a flight i have not used debug, what does this do when i hit debug? (as for replicating my issue i will follow this up next flight).Kelvin

i only need the log when something is messed up on your machine, or there is something wrong with your .pln's or something is amiss in your flying.i can figure it out from the .logjd
