Hi all, I will be going to San Diego for a week, but when I return home I will be buying RC for my Fs9. I know I will be here with a bunch of questions...so stand by.Right of the hand, I dont have a registed copy of FSUIPC but still want the Fs9 default ATC window look with the transparant window and white text, plus be able to close and open the window like the "~" key. I hope this would be possible even with the unregistered copy of FSUIPC. I might go ahead and register in the future, who knows.Anyhow, I been waiting for a more realstic ATC program for FS and finally found it from reading the reviews. Another things is I will be using FS9, Activesky, AISmooth, and now RC on the same machine at the same time....hopefully it wont bug my machine down. Everything so far runs great on my machine (Avtivesky, FS9, AISmooth) runing all at once.Thanks,Bill

Hi Bill,I believe the FSUIPC transparent window is still available on the unregistered version. Pete made the decision that it would have been unfair to prevent so many people enjoying the new feature. And of course it replaces AdvDisp which was free.If you can run all those other apps on the FS9 machine then you should be okay running RC too. I would advise you perform a full defrag prior to installing RC4 to ensure the wavs are retrieved as quickly as possible.The manual can be downloaded from the RC website so use the time whilst your order is being processed and mailed to bring yourself up to speed on how it all works. Welcome:After installing RC be sure to move advdisp.dll from the modules folder and download and install FSUIPC from the link provided above so you get the latest version. That should give you the new window.The appendix regarding this part in the CD documentation might be out of date.
