April 3, 200719 yr I was planning to fly from London Heathrow to Moscow. My VA requires me to switch from Flight Level to Metric Altitudes in the CIS. Can I do this with RC? Will it automatically tell me to descend/ascend? Do I have to fudge my PIREP? (DON'T TELL ANYONE AT VPA! I PROMISE ALL CURRENT PIREPS ARE ACCURATE.)Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.virtualpilots.org/signatures/vpa296.png Ryan Gamurot
April 4, 200719 yr Author Thanks jd. I guess I'll try and get as close to the correct altitude and just file the correct one.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.virtualpilots.org/signatures/vpa296.png Ryan Gamurot
April 4, 200719 yr You could just fly the metric altitude and use the 'Deviations for Turbulance' option. This will disable the altitude check whilst your in the cruise. Phil Brown
April 4, 200719 yr Author I had a similar problem with cruising in Concorde and that was the same solution someone gave. I don't know why I never think of using this feature for these situations. Thanks, Phil.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.virtualpilots.org/signatures/vpa296.png Ryan Gamurot
